It’s like all of my stars have been aligned. Everything that could go right has gone right,,, and as a result the Annual Chocolate, Dessert & Wine Lover’s Evening is born!
Many vendors from Fairfield County and beyond will showcase their tasty creations. Names like SONO Baking Company, DiMare Pastry Shop, The Chocolate Box NYC, Gourmetibles, and Chocolations with their sweet treats – alongside names like Crazy Grapes, Drinx Unlimited, The Olde Burnside Brewing Company and more with their yummy liquid creations.
I see many names on the participant list that are getting me all excited! There will be many of usual favorites as well as lots of goodies that I have not yet had the pleasure of trying … and now is my chance.
For icing on the cake, the event will benefit the Shelter for the Homeless in Stamford, CT. The Shelter focuses on making their clients self-sufficient while providing them daily necessities like food, employment development services, and transitional housing year round while enabling the individuals to maintain their personal sense of dignity. This year’s event is held on Feb 9th from 6-9 PM at the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa on 243 Tresser Blvd. The ticket sales go directly to benefit the shelter and they are as low as $45, if purchased before Feb 6th, or $50 thereafter.
